District Vision Eyewear at Atelier Mira!
District Vision was founded in 2016 by Max Vallot and Tom Daly with the intention of developing tools for mindful athletes that are both function-first and performance enhancing. They wanted to create something that reflected their shared passions: running and meditation.
The brand began testing their sports eyewear collection in 2014 on a group of NYC downtown runners. From there, they used feedback and Japanese engineering to create the Keiichi running sunglasses system. The label then began producing accessories and apparel representing those same passions, though their eyewear is still the brand’s core.
Since then, District Vision has taken off, and been considered the “perfect outdoor wellness” brand, combining utility, quality and style. They currently have 7 lines of sunglasses, all still manufactured in Japan with varying styles, and colorways, as well as tactical yet eye-catching lenses. Of these seven lines, four will soon be available at Atelier Mira, which we are so excited to have and to share with you.
